Plot
This is the story of the long-time New York City mafia boss, Dwight “The General” Manfredi. He was in prison for 25 years and he expects some respect and some rewards from his crime family. Rather, his bosses send him to a place he knows no one: Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Dwight soon discovers that Tulsa offers an opportunity for a new beginning. He brings in locals to his operation, such as taxi driver Tyson Mitchell, cannabis dealer Bodhi Geigerman and bar owner Mitch Keller. They make up a rapidly expanding criminal network.
The more Dwight spreads his power, the more enemies he has. Local biker gangs, rival mob bosses, powerful businessmen, federal agents, and criminal syndicates challenge him. Meanwhile, he is attempting to reconnect with his daughter and rebuild the relationships he has squandered over the past 40 years of incarceration.
The series is a mix of action drama and comedy along with emotions with the family. After spending much of his life behind bars, it’s hard for Dwight to get used to modern technology and contemporary society. These kinds of scenarios provide numerous humorous moments during the show.
