Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire Plot
Salaar: Part 1, Ceasefire is a story that moves back and forth in time gradually uncovering the nature of power and friendship in the dystopian city-state of Khansaar. Young Devaratha “Deva” Raisaar and Vardha Raja Mannar are brought up as inseparable friends in 1985. The kingdom of Khansaar is governed by a barbaric monarch, where brutality is the new order of things and allegiance is coerced by threats. Deva and his mother almost die when Vardha orders the massacre of the Shouryaanga tribe, but is saved by Vardha. Vardha gives up his own land to save the life of Deva and makes sure that Deva goes to exile and ties their friendship with an unspoken vow- Deva will come when Vardha calls.
In 2017, the story has shifted to the life of Aadhya, a young woman who comes to India, without any suspicion and creates a political uproar in Khansaar. Her appearance scares Radha Rama, the step-sister of Vardha, who develops events to cause conflict. Aadhya gets kidnapped, kidnapped and kidnapped again, and finally gets safe with Deva whom she leads a life of restraint under the strict moral hand of his mother. Deva does not use violence, but the situation compels him to join the fight again when the life of innocent people is at stake.
