Sikandar (2025) had a huge expectation since it was the first time that Salman Khan appeared in a full-fledged action drama after a long time. Under the guidance of A.R. The movie may not have got the anticipated reception at the box office but nevertheless, it brought a debatable topic concerning loss and redemption, as well as the cause of a man to transform lives. In this article, we will discuss the cast of sikandar
Sikandar (2025) – Plot Summary
Sikandar is the heir to Sanjay Sikandar Rajkot, the former ruler, who lived with a great deal of emotional detachment in Gujarat, and with his wife Saisri. Sanjay is devastated when a bomb detonates killing Saisri, who has been pregnant secretly. Her organs are sold to three Mumbai residents:
- Kamar, a Dharavi-based sick child.
- Vaidehi, a woman struggling against the family limit.
- Nisha is a girl with a broken heart.
Sanjay comes to Mumbai to assist everyone out of respect for the memory of his wife, to overcome their hardships. He fights a polluting businessman, defends the dreams of Vaidehi and rescues Nisha in a medical emergency. But there is a mighty minister, Rakesh Pradhan, who is avenging since Sanjay had humiliated his son, Arjun, in the past due to his misconduct with a woman on a flight. Rakesh orders men to kill the terror recipients after Sanjay is framed with an accidental murder by Rakesh in a terror case, after Arjun dies. Sanjay struggles against every difficulty, rescues the three characters and trumps the minister. Upon giving up to the police, the citizens of Mumbai are protesting to release him, and he is even named by the people as Sikandar, a saviour of the people.

Sikandar 2025 Movie Story & Screenplay Analysis
The main plot of the movie is based around the three main arcs:
1. A Man’s Search for Redemption
Her husband dies before Sanjay can get to know of her pregnancy. Her organs are able to save the lives of three strangers. This forms the emotional mainstay of the movie, as it makes him do good in her memory.
2. Protecting Three Lives
The individual problems of the recipients are different:
- Kamar is a victim of the notorious land pollution, which is a deliberate act by a very strong businessman.
- Vaidehi struggles against housewifery and hopes to be financially free.
- Nisha has a weak heart of weak and emotional trauma.
- Sanjay turns into a guide to all the three providing the story with a solid emotional framework.
3. The Political Revenge Arc
The story develops a conflict between Rakesh Pradhan and his son Arjun. Their ego, influence and revenge hunger adds more spice to the story particularly when Arjun dies accidentally.
The screen play combines social matter with the business aspect – the dramatic dialogues, mass-action and emotional scenes.
Sikandar Movie 2025 Review
1. Story & Direction
A.R. Murugadoss is the author of films that have both emotional content and giant action. At Sikandar he attempts to exploit the themes such as:
- organ donation awareness
- environmental damage
- political corruption
- women empowerment
But the execution turns out to be lopsided. The initial part is interesting, with a great impact of emotions, and the Mumbai parts in particular. The recreated scenes and action scenes of Dharavi are amazing. But the second half seems to be predictable and filled with repetition.
Strengths
- Emotional heart-touching song.
- Salman Khan has a powerful presence on the screen.
- Action sequences of high budget.
- Good background score by Santhosh Narayanan.
Weaknesses
- Weak villain writing
- Over-the-top climax
- Unbalanced pacing
- Predictable sequences
2. Performances
Salman Khan puts across a mass hero role in an appealing yet intense way. His emotional moments are more impressive than the action.
- Rashmika Mandanna is shown in flashbacks, but they are refreshing.
- The politician villain (Sathyaraj) is effective but is not used fully.
- Kajal Aggarwal makes it into the emotional scenes as Vaidehi.
- Anjini Dhawan is believable as a heart patient.
- The child lung recipient is added by Ayaan Khan who is innocent.
- Viewers felt the filmmakers miscast some of the cast of Sikandar.
3. Music & Technical Aspects
- The songs of Pritam are full of romance, festivities and emotions.
- The best one is Hum Aapke Bina, which has the emotional burden of the movie.
Action sequences are filmed glamorously, in particular:
- the flight fight scene
- the Dharavi chase
- the train sequence
Tirru uses cinematography to give the Mumbai parts a gritty appearance.
4. Overall Review
Sikandar is a noble message, big-scale action with great emotion and ambitions but it is not written and directed uniformly, it fails to become what it could have been.
Rating: 3/5
An enjoyable movie to watch in terms of performances, music and emotional scenes.
Additional Information
1. Themes Explored
- The significance of organ donation.
- Impact of urban pollution
- Accountability of influential people.
- It is a battle between ego politics and collective good.
- The therapeutic effect of benefiting others.
2. The reason the Film was met with mixed reactions
- They were used to fans receiving a purely mass-action type of entertainer, not the emotional background.
- This is because critics believed that the film attempted to conflate too many social issues simultaneously.
- Its performance was influenced by the release in the presence of large movies such as L2: Empuraan.
3. What Worked for Audiences
- The emotional performance of Salman Khan.
- Heartwarming accounts of the three recipients of the organs.
- Action scenes and IMAX spectacle on a large scale.
- Powerful background score
4. What Did Not Work
- Weak villain arc
- Slower narration in parts
- Redundant melodramas at the climax stage
5. Cultural Impact
Although not received well, Sikandar brought up discussions on:
- organ donation impact
- pollution in slum regions
- moral policing of influential politicians.
- Many fans could identify with the redemptive role played by Salman Khan as a man.
Conclusion
Sikandar (2025) is a movie that tries to give a message, emotion and action in a bundle. Even though the cast of Sikandar had many big names, it was not able to become the blockbuster it wanted to be, but at least it can be mentioned because of its deep emotional heart and massive sequences. To the Salman Khan fans and lovers of the dramatic action movies, Sikandar is at least worth watching due to the emotional moments and the stunning visual effects.
